This course is designed for the student who has acquired the basics of principles of photography. With intermediate instruction in the
use of various shooting techniques and also advanced negative and printmaking techniques, the student can develop a proficiency in
the areas of advertising, editorial, fashion, portrait and journalism photography. Students will have the opportunity to become
involved in shooting assignments for school and sporting events and promotional brochures. This course will also integrate digital
photography and allow the students to learn basic Macintosh fundamentals using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Students will
learn to create digitized images by doing a variety of assignments including re-touching, hand coloring and simple montages using
layers. This course will offer many of the same areas of work as Photography II (B), but will not have the in-depth approach.
